Mary, Mother of Martyrs Parish

Sister Revelina Santiago

I am Sr. Revelina Santiago. I belong to the Congregation of the Sisters of Jesus Good Shepherd, in Spanish, Hermanas Pastorcitas. Our Congregation’s specific charism is to share in the pastoral mission of Christ, building up Christian communities in communion with the Pastors of the Church, and in collaboration with those who are dedicated to pastoral care. We are now present in 20

countries, from which our young community in this Parish is the most recent foundation. It became possible due to our pastor, Fr. David’s request for our presence.

I officially started my role as a pastoral associate at St. Stephen Protomartyr Parish in September 2018. I am truly grateful to the Lord for giving me the chance to be sent in this part of the world and be able to share His message and love to those whom He entrusted to my care. Being in this Parish is truly life-giving for me as I share the gifts God has given me, I am also enriched by the presence and

cooperation of each one. It is very inspiring to see parishioners who are getting involved in different ministries especially those who generously accepted leadership roles. We have become a bigger Parish now because of the unification of St. Stephen and St. Mary’s, which is even a greater blessing from God. Let us then unite all our efforts and resources to build up our community through our commitment to our faith, hence bring more brothers and sisters closer to God and to the Church.
